Political Issues...

As someone stated on this forum; " Enough Is Enough " ! Lets all see how forward thinking we can all be by just simply voting , and voting big , to see a well deserved change in the direction this commonwealth is headed for THE USA ! No more political views from me ; it all will be answered in Nov. Dig It !!!

  • Unfortunately you have rung the dinner bell. Pro or Con Left, Right or Center All will join in
because we are what we are, pugnacious humans.

@jim & @david Please cut this off before it gets rolling.

@graeme - cup of tea? or something stronger? Love to Chris

  • Hello Ptownpapa.Just had a cup of tea and a banana in the garden with Chris and his majesty.Had to wrestle Treacle out of next door's garden. Not a good start to the day, especially as my neighbours were still in bed.I agree. No room for politics on this site.Every time politics are discussed it inevitably ends in an argument.Discussing food however, always leads to peace, tranquility and gay repartee.Take care my friend.

  • I plan on voting early and often for DJT just to cancel this guy out.

  • Thank you for those responses.

  • I am on a stringent diet or so says my wife. Squirrels in the dead of winter eat better than I do these days.
Managed to create a sardine on whole wheat toast, wilted spinach and an early fresh tomato. Yogurt and a peach,
and 6 ounces of a low everything erstaz "juice". I am allowed the sardines once a week. Save me.

  • I grew up in NYC and the only thing I ever had on a pizza was anchovies. So once every decade or so I get a hankering for some. Last week I gave in to my urges. I'm good till 2030 at least.

  • Was the yogurt and peach on the sandwich or the side?

  • @$irSpin324 and @homedoggy - and so it starts, the participants in these forums always say "I'm here to play the games". I don't know you, your life, or your circumstances, I know, however, that you enjoy the games and the camaraderie. Your politics are yours, mine and @lasso's and @graeme's, even Jim and David's are ours. Please
take a breath, smile and play your favorite game.

  • Thank you @homedoggy!!! That must be why I had yogurt down the front of my shirt. Damn...

What part of NYC? I grew up in Coney Island.

  • North Bronx ...233rd and Baychester
Been to Coney Island many times

  • Another politcal forum that will be trumped by Jim and David, sorry for pun , stay safe everyone

  • ptown and hd...you may have my shares of anchovies and sardines...

  • @homedoggy your hankering -- pizza or anchovies?

  • Now that's no contest! homedoggy, Bronx pizza is 3rd rate, behind Manhattan (little Italy) #2, and the best
in the city - Brooklyn. Absolutely finest kind. Of course my memory and taste buds are clouded by 40 years of crap
midwestern "pizza" with an occasional shout out to a pretty good Chicago,

  • Can't argue with any of that,. Now, after 40 years down south, we fuss over who has the best barbeque...Lexington style, of course.

  • Anchovies? Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now if you wanted to start a thread of tales of wherever you were, in the last century, New York City or Kentucky, I'd love that! Okay, I'll go wash my dishes and cook second supper... and start on the games of the day.
