Thank you for the music that you share. I was critically injured in 1995 and not expected to live. My Dear Father played music in my ear while I was comatose (17 days) and I made it through. The only detriment I have is that I am nearly deaf in my right ear as my skull was fractured bringing on a subdural hematoma, which was alleviated by brain surgery. I can thankfully say that music brought me back to life as it has been my passion all of my life. I play 3 instruments and sing as well. Had a band back in the early 70's called This Side Up.
Hello, cdmusic, thanks for sharing your story , have faced medical issues myself last year when I had Heart Surgery, and lots of good people on this site have been dealing with serious medical issues as well, the favorite music forum I created was so everyone can share their favorite genres of music with everyone. Was curious on the band name This Side Up , there is a band named the same on youtube, may listen to later , tho am more old school rock and other forms of the Rock/Metal Genre. tho enjoy the variety of music others post. Take Care.
