I know that the Halloween cards will soon be upon us - a happy change. I think we need little 'Monster Mash.' I know I do. Could someone please post the old video ... especially for those of us who are most definitely young at heart?
Thanx G64. You made my day. Sorry I missed your previous post. I guess I scanned them all too quickly. It is amazing how many things we, or should I say I miss as age creeps up.

Boston, Ted Williams et al, I'm old enough to remember him when he was playing against my team, the Detroit Tigers. I listened every afternoon, 5th grade, and learned how to keep score.
Thinking of what graeme wrote for Armistice Day:
For my father who fought in Africa and Burma in W.W 2 and came back. For those who fought in past and present wars and didn't. If we value our freedom we must never forget the sacrifice they made for u…
On July 26, 1948, Harry Truman integrated the US army. The above song (1941) is truly a WHITE Christmas, but now our troops look so different, many colors, and they have been there for many enlistments/terms of service, whatever it's called. They go into the army, maybe to get the GI Bill -- "The GI Bill provides educational assistance to service members, veterans, and their dependents." Some are killed, some are heroes, some come home and are homeless, we see them on the streets asking for money from the cars passing by,sometimes we give them a dollar and a cigarette, some have PTSD, some kill themselves, some get educational assistance from the GI Bill.
Hello evermore.A very nice yet sombre thought.Too many of our service men and women still suffer the consequences of military action with very little support when they leave.I believe it was Audie Murphy, the most decorated American soldier of WW2 who said,'they prepare you for war but not for the peace',or words to that effect.War can change people,it's a pity that people can't or won't change war.So endeth my sermon for the day...........can't find Treacle.........up to no good,as my gran used to say about me.Nice to hear from you.
