Remember Tony B. back in the '50's . In terms of talent , longevity and just plain good listening , I doubt that we will ever see his like again . Also he was a trooper right to the end . Thanks , indeed ...
Years spent in Chicago wistfully listening to 'I left my heart in San Francisco' ... if only. And then life moved me there! Many, many, many years ago it was a city of dreams. RIP Tony. Liquid gold voice.
yowza, been seein' alotta fakes and haters lately .. .. .. reminded me of this old song, one of my all time favs .. .. .. puttin' on my dancin' shoes and crankin' it up!!! yee-haw!!!
Not a music video per se, but I placed next to someone on the Spider 2 high score table and their user name was lyrics from this song, which made me happy.
@homedoggy ....I tried twice to watch the above video and both times it immediately shut down my Chrome laptop. Wonder why? My laptop is old and needs updates or I need a new one.
You're not missing much, Techno junk from my sorted past. Sometimes the artists don't want their music spread around without getting paid Worked okay on my computer. though.
Yay Kraftwerk! I love this song but in the 30 years since I first heard it I never realized the computer voice in the beginning was saying city names! It took the video displaying the names before my feeble brain made any sense of the pronunciation 🤣.
....and a definite precursor to The Blue Man Group. They missed getting into The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame a couple years ago mainly because its totally synthesizer and computer generated.
Yeah, don't think I know them. Haven't seen video in honor of Jimmy Buffet for us Parrot Heads. He died just just a couple months after my sister. We saw him at one of his restaurants in Gulf Shores some years ago. He just happened to come in.
Thanks @fingsaint & @riverrat55 ......Those were great videos. Loved the songs. I'm not familiar with Monica Martin but the song was beautiful and lyrics certainly ring true.
@ homedoggy, they are still the best but I did like the dancing skeletons.Thank-you.Nice to end the day with a smile. For some unknown reason I feel the season of Xmas is almost with us.........could be a case of extra-sensory perception or the triumph of hope over experience.Stay safe.
riverrat55....I do love me some Pink Floyd. Back in the day, my friends and I used to sit around listening to Pink Floyd, talking and....well, never mind. Had a great time, though!
