Gerald and i have been talking alot about foods we enjoy while playing cards .. .. .. my fav snack is Ruffles plain potato chips dipped in Bob’s bleu cheese dressing .. .. .. what’s yours?

Thinly sliced Ambrosia or Gala apple topped with Brie. Sometimes I divide an orange into sections, top each piece with a bit of Brie, place them in the microwave 'til cheese is melted and gooey ... mmmmmmYUM Great question tusconsky.

when avacados are in season, which is all year here, i like to dice one and put in bowl with cottage cheese and salsa, eat with Fritos Scoops, yummy and healthy too!

G64...if you can't remember the name of the candy bar, maybe you can describe it. Does it have nuts like a Snickers or a Payday?
I'm wondering what these keyboards look like after a bag of chips or two. I do indulge in apple slices with peanut butter ...but I bought some brie on the way home.
@homedoggy, a watchamacallit candy bar is a peanut flavored crisp that utilizes peanut butter for flavor w/ layer of carmel and layer of chocolate coating.

Dollar General's stores is the only place have found em' around this neck of woods so hop on down and grab you one,
my brother makes this one and i really like it .. .. .. cream cheese with capers and a dash of sherry vinegar, mix it up and put on celery stalks, enjoy!
Cinnamon Toast, lightly brown or if desired darker, toast on sheet pan in oven I use 300 F , remove spread butter on toast , sprinkle desired coating of cinnamon on toast , cook for another 1-2 minutes til butter melts
also do same for peanut butter toast cook til browned and hot remove then spread desired amount of Peanut Butter cook 1 min. til peanut butter melts.
Glass of wine?
Depends on if I'm in a savoury or sweet mood, but pretty much anything I can grab 'n' go. Gotta watch out when I get weird cravings though - like pink milk and pickles.
1 can of tuna, drained
1 blob of mayo
1 spoon of curry powder, salt and pepper
Mix up and spread on a cracker (nut thins with sesame seeds r my fav, gf too)
eaten with a sweet gherkin pickle (and pink milk?)

Tusconsky, I love that too (excluding pickle). I add some diced apple. Good on crackers and with a heap shredded lettuce or alfalfa sprouts makes a great sandwich. Now I am hungry.

Popcorn. Lots and lots of popcorn. Largely as a delivery system for my own blend of spices: cayenne, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper. Plus whatever strikes my fancy on a given night...
all the spices sound good as well, I still prefer coated in orange salt like you use to get in movie theatre.
mhm, luv me some popcorn, popped in a pot on the stove, i add 6 or 7 glugs of Huichol Hot Sauce to the corn oil, dont even have to put butter on it, soooooo gooood!

Scrambled eggs topped with blobs of jelly on top and mixed , enjoyed it when I was a kid , use to see my dad do it and still enjoy it
@jabba ...I had a childhood alergy to chocolate (I know, I know) and we weren't big on sweet stuff anyway...but my folks would buy the strawberry version of chocolate milk. Never tried it with pickles though.

if i have peanuts or smokehouse almonds i chop ‘em up and add those to chocolate-dipped banana 🐒

almost every snack i eat has been cooked in some way, fried, baked, roasted .. .. .. how can u eat popcorn without cooking it in the microwave or on the stovetop? and without popcorn how can i make my halloween popcorn balls with caramel and cashews??? yikes!!! i shudder to think
