Only new to klondike within the last month , but looked at other game sites as reference in your query regarding only showing the backs of cards I noticed their are different set ups with other games , hopefully someone who is more familiar with game that has played Klondike for a long period of time may help you better , I did see where all the cards where face up on some,most had only backs showing.
Just finished Klondike.Cards seem o.k.Have had this same problem in the past but only for a short while.Stop game and re-try
@Rosyfutur I play solitaire turn3 often and for many years, those cards that are turned down are cards that will eventually turn face up when you have played all the cards in that row. as if you were playing with a deck of cards in your hand while dealing and all the ones that are face down are not played until playable. I hope I'm not confusing you. After you play the game several times you'll get used to the way this site has been set up for these games...welcome and enjoy the games.
