A Little Pat on the Back
Somehow I just managed to beat Seahaven Towers game # 1426356365 after so many attempts that I wasted 2 hours and nearly overcooked dinner. But it was worth it when I unraveled it completely. Almost gave up when I scored 39 points by getting all the Spades, Hearts, and Clover stacks completed, but the Diamonds got stuck in an unmovable pile. After serving dinner, I took one more shot at it, with a major change in tactic, and was able to find my way to completion. I do not film or keep track of my moves, so I can only repeat this by memory. Done for tonight though, I deserve to give myself a little pat on the back for this minor success, but a success no less! I believe it was the most difficult layout that I ever solved in the Towers. Now back to the job search........ahhhh!

Congratulations
Well figured, Lissie ????
Determination wins the day!
Just to elucidate the multiple ??? in the above comment. It seems that, on this message board, the three query/question marks are the default text for the thumbs up emoji that I originally posted
Well done Lissie. It's the only way to learn, whatever game you play. There is more satisfaction completing what may be a difficult game no matter how long it takes. If you are happy with that, that's all that matters.Better than me.I find playing solitaire hard enough without trying to cook.Fortunately my wife does that.
Well done Lissie, you were right that one was tricky.
Congratulations and good job!!
Woot woot!!
Dilly ! Dilly !
Well it has been almost a year since Lissie's great feat...I wonder what other games that she has managed to overcome.
woof woof!!!
Hey, its been over 6 years since I began posting, and so much has happened. But I did finally get back to work and have been working my Jackass off, even during most of the pandemic. Thank you all for your support! I am telling you love and listening actively, and give love to those that hate (they mostly hate themselves) is the BEST WAY TO LIVE THIS TOUGH LIFE. And boy, does some cardplaying help! By the way, if you feel alone, I have some great advice for how to meet new people! But you might have to stop playing so much!
That’s good news @Lissie_Love 🙂 So glad to hear that life is treating you well since you last posted on this thread back in 2017!
Lissie-Love.Welcome back.Nice to hear from you again.Take care.
Nice to here from you as well. Hey, Graeme, I remember your kindness and willingness to help. I have been around. I just did not post, cause my work took a lot out of me, and I preferred to just play, and relax,, and unravel the cards. Also, I lost my mom in October 2022, and had so much to do with cleaning the home I grew up in - in Rhode Island. Thank you for welcoming me back, y'all!
sorry about your mom, this post has me missing my own family and sachuest beach, seven years / seven towers sending good vibes in as many directions as I can
hugs @kilgoretrizzout . Good vibes always welcome.
