I find maze most relaxing
I find Yukon second most relaxing.
I find Maze very challenging and get annoyed when I cannot get a strong line of hearts, spades, diamonds or clubs put together on the top line, or I do start to accumulate a line, and then it gets cut short by another suit which I cannot move out of the way. The most relaxing games to me is simple Klondike. I play it on the treadmill when I go to the gym between my runs. I walk for 3-4 minutes, then play some Klondike, and then start running again. its helps me get through that challenging, but much-needed exercise!
And Yukon I have never been to good at, but then I do not play it enough.
By the way, thank you for responding to my question, tmas!
I find Pyramid relaxing because it's quick. The others require far more concentration and strategy.
It depends, really, on how I feel and what kind of organizing I want to do. After many years of practice, this card sorting feels like organizing to me. Some days I like to play the more difficult Forty Thieves, some days the easy Maze. Then Flower Garden, Canfield, or Seahaven Towers. and once in a while Yukon or Pyramid. I play Addiction when I just want to click on cards with very little rhyme or reason. How long has Calculation been here?
Pyramid is one of my favorites, after a hard day at work. Like tonight. But I got bored with Addiction because I was having a lot of trouble unraveling it, then lining it up. I play mostly Seahaven Towers, Klondike, Golf, and Pyramid. But I think I will challenge myself to some other this weekend! Will let you know.
I find a large whisky very relaxing after a long fruitless game of Forty Thieves.Play on folks and enjoy you'r games.......there's always another game to play.Take care my friends.
A large whisky will be very welcome tonight. I think i have an unopened bottle of Lagavulin in the pantry. It shall not remain so.
A very nice single malt. Can I join you? Take care.
You are always welcome. Here's a toast to civility, decorum, and good manners!
I'll second that
It's BYOB around here but I do have some Glenlivet I'll trade dram for dram
I've been playing a lot of One Suit Spider lately. Normal Spider takes me 30 to 40 minutes to solve and often requires restarting or undoing 80% of the game to make any progress. But One Suit is much easier. It's almost mindlessly easy, but it still takes a few minutes to play. It's great to play while listening to podcasts… I also like Flower Garden a whole lot.
Thank you. david, for your Input! I appreciate that - since you helped design this great website! I haven't played Spider in a long time, so I will try your suggestion. As well as Flower Garden! It would be nice if it's name could be changed to Flower Garden Love, but since its been known as Flower Garden for a long time, I will rescind the request. But I do appreciate the change of temperament. Let's bring it to other parts of our lives as well. Conversation with Consideration and Active Listening and Unconditional Positive Regard is the way to move forward!
Wow, David, I forgot to post my comment 5 minutes ago, but then went and played the One Suit Spider. It was a challenge and I think it will take me a couple nights of playing it to get to "mindlessly easy." You must have the memory and muster for all the confusion that unravels. I will work out the kinks!
Thanks again!

Sorry about the double-post. I came back to the Discussion, and it appeared that my first post had not posted. So I sent it again. And so now I post Double-Love and Triple-Wins for you all!
