The Hint key has been an ongoing request for a long time, as am including a recent link to best of my ability to this topic. @Jim & @David our awesome creators of this amazing site have made best resolution to not include the option https://forum.greenfelt.net/discussion/11395/hint-button
If one were playing with a deck of cards on the dining room table at home, there is no hint available; simply the luck of the draw and acuity of playing the hand that is dealt.
I'd like to see my improvement on Free Cell more quickly.
If I'm 121 of best = 242, it would be faster to see 50%. The computer might have a way to do this?

A "hint" key is one step on the way to a solver, and while such is possible J & D have opted not to implement such.

Sometimes going backward in the discard pile is as important as a new draw going forward.
I'll second that.
@kmrhine@yahoo.com An excellent example of going backward in the discard pile being important, in Forty Thieves, is game #2594593901. Give it a try.
Game #495759741 Bing, bing, bing, boom. Goes quickly.
