Continuing the Addiction challenge

Some years back I started playing Addiction from game #1 and down through the sequence playing each game until I won it getting all 52 cards played. I got as far as #1258 that stumped me for three or four days. At that point I decided to take a break, not having won that game. I had intended to go back to it in a few weeks, but instead forgot about for some years. I kept a spreadsheet with my numbers for each game I won so it was easy to go back to it.
Recently I went back to it and won the game #1258 relatively easy. It also seemed to me that it was not the same game that I got stuck on, because the one that had me stuck, I could not play a single card on the first pass at all, but had no problem playing on the first pass when I went back to it.
All that said, I wonder if it is possible that the games got reordered so that it is not the same game now that it was back then?
I actually didn't mean to post this in bug report. I didn't realize I was in that category.

The shuffle is not supposed to change, but bugs do happen. It looks like you stopped at https://greenfelt.net/addiction?game=1242 and that https://greenfelt.net/addiction?game=1243 was the one that stumped you back then. Plenty of people have tried, like @buddha, but so far you're the only one that has won it, so it must be a hard one. You didn't try https://greenfelt.net/addiction?game=1258 until this year, AFAICT.
Oh yeah, you are right it was 1243 that I was wondering about. 1242 was the last successful one before I laid off for awhile.

I saw your post and had to learn to play Addiction. It is tough to figure out a strategy if you are new to it, but it is fun as heck. It took me about 12 tries or so to solve https://greenfelt.net/addiction?game=1243 but I finally did it.
Have you played FortyThieves? It's somewhat similar to Addiction in that you build on the tableau within the same suit, but down in rank instead of up. Unlike Addiction, it is a double-deck game. Give https://greenfelt.net/fortythieves?game=1507824690 a try and see what you think. You may find it a nice switch after playing a few games of Addiction.
Yes, I have played Forty Thieves. It is a good game. I am pretty certain that game #1243 was not the same game that hung me up a while back. I think somehow the games may have been reordered, but who knows for sure? Anyhow, I am glad you got into Addiction. It is a great game.
