@MIlfordgail If you’re using “TDS” in the normal sense that people who loathe trump with every fiber of their being are deranged, then I’m squarely and proudly in that group. Out of respect for the community in this forum, I will not engage in any political discussion here beyond the following: Consider who is really deranged in this situation:
1. Those of us who take issue with:

what happened on January 6—and all that he did leading up to that day—compounded by trump pardoning all those convicted of crimes that day and seeking nearly $2 billion to compensate those people
all that trump has done to destroy faith in our elections, and all that he’s trying to do to seize control of election processes
damage to the global economy by unilaterally imposing tariffs, without regard for the Constitution’s provisions that Congress has exclusive power over tariffs
invading Venezuela and Iran, and the extra-judicial killings of hundreds of people in boats off of Central America, all without consulting Congress as required by the Constitution
unprecedented politicization of the Justice Department
damaging relations with allies and institutions that have helped avoid a world war for 80 years
branding the media as “enemies of the people”
tearing down a wing of the White House for a vanity project
I could go on. And on. And on…

Or
2. those who either (a) insist that all of the above is fictitious or at least completely blown out of proportion, or (b) continue to support him either in spite of or because of all of the above.

Seriously. Think which side is deranged. Try to find the objectivity to consider the things he has done in the abstract, or imagine if any other president had done those things. Or, if you prefer, flip it around: name 5 things that you think he has done wrong. [Hint: You might be I a cult if you believe the great leader has done no wrong and can do no wrong.]
So we agree about at least one thing: Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. But it’s a classic case of the pot calling the kettle … deranged.
