When there is a logical move to make, the game (site) does it for you. Vs having to slowly move one card to this place, the next card to that place, on and on. Supermoves! Muy sympatico players around the world. Two best guys in the world who run the site.
David & Jim really are two good guys. They make this site run because of their love for the games and WE GET THE BENEFIT! No obstacles, paywall or ads. Terrific way to waste time.
This site is a throwback to about 2005, when the web was full of sites built out of love. Every feature had the goal of making the visitor's experience better. @david and @jim, long may you wave.

Apart from being free, I find the interface is really well thought out. Not complex, but works beautifully. The card display sizes, the automation level, the speed of response during moves. Every time the site has been down for some reason and I've tried somewhere else, I become very conscious of how much better Greenfelt is. I can't wait to get back to it. The only problem is that I play too much and sometimes have to use a blocker to lock myself out and get some work done.
David and Jim's kindness to us all. They don't have to provide this magnificent site, yet, they do. This site is my go-to for relaxation. In my years (20+) of trying to find a "good" site for games, this one stands above all the rest. THANK YOU DAVID AND JIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of the above, as well as the hard work and consideration of @jim and @david and the camaraderie, and friendliness, of the other players here.
Playing the games is very relaxing for me...gives me a chance to think about something else besides what's happening in the real world. I most enjoy reading all the comments of other players...they make the site feel like a family affair. I like the regulars like @sage keeping all the boys and girls in line and @sierrarose reminding us how to play the game in the proper manner...there are many others too numerous to mention here. I would like to thank David and Jim and all the others who contribute to make this site more enjoyable and thoughtful.
It's a very nice website with no ads... and the community is welcoming and friendly! It's a lot better than other "free" solitaire games you would find online. Also, @jim and @david are great people!
All of the above.David and Jim have produced a solitaire site second to none.We are very much a family with all the ups and downs that go with it.Win or lose,there's always someone to talk to including Jim and David who have made this site what it is.Long may it continue.
This site is challenging but also relaxing
So many wonderful reasons - it keeps me awake when I am doing a 12hr night shift, it works my brain and hopefully helps keeps the "old timers" away, I love the challenge, I am in awe of how Jim and David moderate (reckon I would get mighty cranky with some people), I love that a lot of us are kinda like family that we have never met, if you take the time to look there are buttons to hit to answer questions and change layouts etc, and I might just be slightly addicted to the site (been playing almost as long as it has been running). Thank you for all you do J & D.
