Hello BelmontShore.In regard to fortythieves and Klondike,if you don't have the run of the cards,no amount of manipulation will gain a complete result.Simple answer is that some games can be won while others can't.It just depends on the cards available to you.I can't speak for the other games,perhaps some are different.I hope this is of some help for you.
@BelmontShore... If you were to deal a deck of cards, yourself, would all the games be solveable or would some be impossible to win? The cards dealt, for these games, are not structured or manipulated, in any way, any more than you'd do with a deck of cards, yourself. (And weren't trying to cheat.) So, in my experience, some games are impossible to win. ***Results vary depending on how much tea I've drunk and/or chocolate/bacon, I've eaten.
