Play timer?

How about a counting digital display of time elapsed on a game? Maybe to 1/10 sec. resolution It would freeze when the game was paused. It would give you an idea during gameplay whether you were on track to achieve a time goal.

Thanks @Sage. And yes @jim, still plenty of fun without a counter. And in fact you may be right about the distraction.

I am one who would find it distracting, but you could always use your phone. Mine has large numbers and counts tenths of seconds. Just lean it against your screen.
