Which game? I have not found this to be so.
I've found this to happen if you leave a given browser page open to Freecell day after day. Two ways around it:
1. start from a new browser (i.e., Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.) or just a new tab within a given browser
2. go to the Leader Board page and tap/click the play button for game of interest under "Today's Games of the day"
