Hello RockitMister. It's called experience and if it's an easy game it can, sometimes with aid of the automatic move facility,be completed in the times above.I play Klondike every day and have done for more years than I care to remember. As I have said many times before, you have to practice regularly to improve your game.Despite all the claims of cheating and devious Machiavellian ploys involving various electronic gadgets,it comes down to experience. Some players play fast, others choose to play at a pace they enjoy. Some just play the Leader Board others like myself play both the Leader Board and the everyday games.Play your games any way you like.Idon't know if this answers your question but I hope you are not discouraged by these scores.Just keep on playing.
can you explain how "experience" works? I've played 40 Thieves forever and it's still hit or miss. There are easier games of Thieves than others. Is it the hand motion making the keys work or is it remembering what's been played. I'm not into speed playing, but everyone talks about "experience". I understand the theory of "practice, practice, practice" to get to Carnegie Hall, but that's about learning something that can be explained.
@lasso is one of out veteran players , has been for a long time ,
Hello jezzbelle. In my book experience is the years I have spent playing Klondike Solitaire. It's time and application. The ability to read the game and which moves are more practicable to resolve the game.If you know the game, this assessment can be done in split seconds. In regard to speed,as I stated in a previous reply, speed is not my intent but a natural progression coupled with eye/hand co-ordination and the fact I play every day.All this has been built up over many years.I hope this does not sound convoluted or even patronising, but it's the only way I can answer your question. All I can say is that it works for me.In regard to 40 Thieves,I too have just started playing that game these last two weeks and like yourself I find that it is not an easy game to play, but I find it very enjoyable to the point where I'm neglecting my Klondike.I did manage 104 once in the game of the day but not good enough for the Leader Board, otherwise, like yourself I'm still struggling to suss out the game. The enjoyment I get is just trying to improve my game.............and that will come with time and therefore experience.I'll keep an eye open for you when I next play the game.Perhaps we'll learn from each other.Nice to hear from you
