Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible:
Why do n you set games that cant be won. This happens too often. Dont see the point !!
Comments
If you dealt the games out by hand, would you win every deal?
And so many kinds of games are statistically impossible to win every time, like forty thieves or canfield. I dislike the one color hopeless which is always winable but exceptionally uninteresting.
Maybe I'm just weird or something. When I was a little person (at least a day or 2 ago) my mother taught me how to play games. When I complained that doing it the way the game said I must was hard and it was easier my way, she had this response:
Every single, solitary game you will ever play in your life is a challenge. Games were created that way to teach, but mostly to give you a short goal to strive for. If you absolutely MUST win every game, create your own. Otherwise play the game the way someone else created it. Just don't whine about it or complain you lost again.
She shocked me then and it took a long time to understand. Games are for recreation, not to try to get trophies for, not to be the best always, not to stroke our egos. Games are to help us relax.
Now, if you just gotta compete, that's ok....plenty of that here. Go for it.
If you just gotta win, go create your own game.
Enjoy the games
The great thing about playing with physical cards is you can cheat. Makes winning every time a snap.
I think someone needs to read the above message by Springrain, If I was good at cheating I would have a big house on the hill in Las Vegas , if I have to cheat to win it defeats the purpose of this site, or their ego. I'm gone before I stick my foot in my mouth ,
Thanks for the message Springrain. Take Care.
Three cheers for springrain and lasso, if I could I'd buy you a cup of coffee.
@Arborist, I'm pretty sure Jim and I have discussed adding in cheating—like maybe you hold down a special key and it just lets you move cards regardless of the rules (it would invalidate your high score, obviously)… But we don't have that and it's not really a priority. :-)
SPRINGRAIN,
You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LORD HAVE FUN NOT
"I GOTTA WIN" too much crap going on in this world and I am sure the complainer is not a KID!!!!!!!
HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY EVERYONE !!
And so it continues.........ad infinitum ad nauseum.Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.As in life,so in cards.Leave the malcontents to their own devices.Play on.
