In Spider Game 924368999, there is a Jack of Clubs that (based on where it can be placed and what can be placed on it) is acting like a King.

Thanks Richard. Were you using Firefox perchance? We've see problems with it miscaching images. Or at least that's what we tell ourselves.

Yes, I am using Firefox 2.0.

Any chance of upgrading to 3 or 3.5? We believe it's a caching bug with Firefox 2.x and we haven't seen it very much (at all?) in 3.0+. If upgrading is out of the question, reload the page with the shift key held down and that refreshes the cache which seems to fix the problem (until it happens again).
