about the 'cheaters'...

The practicing a game until you get it down just to post a high score is one of multiple reasons I gave up registering to play on this site. Those that use this practice are just seeking some sort of attention and may have some sort of deprivation anxiety. Probably were ‘outran’ on the school yard at some previous age, couldn’t get over it and haven’t accomplished anything noteworthy since and thus have found a stage to show their prowess, albeit fixed. These are the types that are most likely to be kicked out of friendly games, clubs, or casinos for feeble attempts to fix a win.
A friend and I talked on this subject and he produced a short program to win (at Klondike) and even with the many bugs in it, works fairly well. He urged me to use it (he’s unaware of the exact site) to upstage these guys, but I had to strenuously explain to him that was my exact point and would prove nothing to me and my joy of playing the game cold. I did reregister to post this after reading some of the preposterous scores that kept cropping up at games end.
I’ll probably continue to play anonymously, if nothing else but, to keep my integrity. Now if I could just keep this damn site from over-clicking so I can get a better score…

We understand your frustration and are working on ways to keep the leader board clean, while still allowing people to re-play a games lots of times to see how well they can do if that's what they like doing.

We feel the same way. We (being programmers) wrote a program to do the same thing, but we gave up using it after a few days.

We can't really stop (using technical means) people from using programs, but we can try and make the experience better for people who don't use them. Some of our ideas are to allow users to "uncheck" other users from their leader board. So if for example you knew that say tasha, stacy and trisha were all the same person (they are) and that she used the different accounts to practice playing, you could just decide you didn't want to see her on your leader board.

Try using Control-z to undo quickly when you've clicked things accidentally.

Not so much frustrated, just annoyed at the simple mindset.

    Programmers? Really!? ;-)

Good idea. It's fun to see you have the panache to 'out' some of those members with multiple id's.

I'm guessing the single-click thing is to reduce bandwidth.
