What would you like to see?
I'd really like to see a timer.  It would be nice to see how long my game has been active when I'm dealing with a particularly tough game - rather than having to wait to complete the game.
It would also be nice to know that the timer begins when I select my first card or if it starts right from the moment I select a new game.

    Hi Kathy,

    We have decided not to add a timer for aesthetic reasons.  We consider them ugly, distracting and stress inducing while we are trying to cultivate beautiful, smooth and peaceful.  I can tell you however that the timer starts immediately and stops while the game is paused.

    Thanks so much for your reply Jim.  I can understand "beautiful, smooth and peaceful".  I'll keep that in mind.  After all, I'm really just having fun here.

    @padra, yep, as soon as it shows up. If you load a game and walk away without playing, click the "restart" button before you begin, that will reset the game and the timer.
