    The subject has been brought up multiple times over the years, but the consensus seems to be "No." Personally, I am so bombarded by noise all the time, that I enjoy the silence. Just put on music you like and chill.

    I agree, kat14. Have we been conditioned to expect sound when we're on line? I wonder. When I first started on the internet back in 93 - 95 (ish), the sound was jarring and annoying. When I play games on the Magnificent, Wonderful, Lovely, and Satisfying Greenfelt, I crave the silence I find here.
