It seems like the odds of never winning at 40 Thieves have dramatically increased. Has the game been intentionally made more difficult or is it that I am just a lousy player? In any event, the game is no longer fun for me and I think I am going to give playing it up. Sorry.
Hello Huemann.Just played the above game and I didn't get the top score either.I'm an average player at this game so I didn't expect to get the top score anyway.I have been playing this game every day for about two years and there are days when I don't seem to get anywhere. It's a difficult game and needs lots of concentration so don't become discouraged. You are not alone, there are many of us who sometimes struggle with this game. It's just a game, don't take it too seriously.Don't give up just play on.........there's always another game.I wish you well
If you haven't tried this already, when the game starts, try leaving the 2 of diamonds on the King of hearts, take the 2 of diamonds under the 5 of hearts instead.
That said, there are days (sometimes a few) when I can't score out of the single digits. Good and bad days come and go, it seems. On bad days, I switch to a different Solitaire game (not game number) entirely and sometimes get lucky.
@Huemann Neither one. Some days there are easier games, some days the deals mostly come up not good. Hang in there. Or ... try playing Spider (One Suit) - requires a different type of thinking but almost every game is "winnable." Though, takes a longer time per game. David, one of the creators of this site, suggested it and I'm having fun with it. A lot of back tracking and rethinking too. More forgiving.
Don't be so hard on yourself.
