duplicate cards every game

Please describe the problem in detail:
Every game, at least once, one new card on the discard file is the same as the one below.

This happens much more often than I would expect from a random shuffling of 2 packs of cards.

I did a quick simulation of 1,000,000 of deals with two 52 card decks and a theoretical calculation two 30 card decks[1] both indicate that it should happen a little more than 63% of the time.

Who knew?

[1] The naive calculation gets exponentially slower, but it looked to be converging.
