What is a "flay"?

Ahhhh...ok.
on those days when the cards are changed to reflect a national holiday other than ours, it occurs to me that the flag choices available look like the united aryan nations .. .. .. so i was wondering the same thing, where are the flags of mexico or any country of central or south america, asia, middle east, africa, indonesia .. .. .. ?
Be aware - there are 193 Nations in the UN. How do we/you/Jim and/or Dave choose who gets a flag/card back?
AND someone has to design them to some ones (or MANYS) taste/ethnic/personal desire ad infinitum.
Australia was a breeze as I recall. Malta? Morocco? Myanmar?
I would love to help with Slovakia, My wife - also an "M" - wants to do Denmark. It can be done but it will take a while.
WOW!! What a project! It just crashed into me that Greenfelt is the perfect bunch/team/group for just that - Card Backs? Flags? Coat of arms? National Identity? - all those people playing games can be artist for a day/minute/hour or whatever suits them... FUN - As Hercule Poirot says "get the grey cells working"

@tucsonsky I think you are doing a big disservice to David & Jim by your comment. I think they have done a great job! Maybe you don't realize how much time & effort goes into keeping a website like this going. They, and MOST of the players are great. Yes, there are a few who exhibit some characteristics that I don't appreciate, but overall it's a great place.

Neither Jim nor I have anything against adding a Mexican flag themed card back. At the same time we're not going commit to adding it since we're not going to volunteer someone else's time. Neither of us personally created any of the card backs, nor did we pay for them. This means we can't really demand anyone make one, though we can ask nicely and hope it happens eventually.
So, basically, if we want any particular flag or design as a card back, we have to do this digital artistry ourselves and post it here or send it to you, @jim and @david ? (Just making sure that people who repeatedly ask for a new, or a certain, card back understand this.)

I really meant “I asked our art guy (@Michael ) but can’t force him to work for free, so we’ll see what happens”—Greenfelt isn’t a company or something with rigid hierarchy where Jim and I can just command people to do things.
Though if the community wants to contribute svgs, feel free (but no guarantees we’ll take them).
