I would like to see the card being moved go to the long column rather than the short.

    I know it adds to the time and move count but you can hit "REDO" and move the cards as you like. The game can be overridden

    Instead of just clicking on the card, grab it and drag it to where you want. That does add a little time, but allows you to drop the card where you want it.

    Actually, I think we choose left over right, but it occurs to me that for Free Cell what we should do is to choose the opposite after an undo.
