Klondike random deal?

I think most people will have sensed that, on starting playing Klondike(3) there is a better chance of winning. The expectation in playing solitaire is that the deal is as random as it would be with physical playing cards. Is this the case?

We attempted to make the games have random shuffles, but due to an ancient bug the shuffle distribution is not uniform. I don't know if this makes the games harder of easier on average. We have been meaning to fix this for at least a decade, so don't hold your breath.
