Yes, the site is back! Only some of the historical games have been recovered, but hopefully that happens over time. Thanks for the report on that date being wrong. @MarcyS, we didn't notice the date error! Jan 1, 1970 is the unix epoch, i.e. what many computers call the "zero date". Luckily the dates were correct behind the scenes and we were just displaying them wrong.
That's okay! I'm just so grateful that even when there are problems we still get to play!
Hurrah! Great to see everything working again (though I've been able to play Forty Thieves all along, just not see scores or leaders, or log in to the messages section. But I can do all of those things now!
Spoke too soon. I can see the leaderboard and play the games, but when I win or give up, it's still just spinning for me.

Kaboom! I cleared my cookies, and it started saving my scores!
Finally back to full functioning (knock wood). Scores show up when I finish a game. What did it was removing Greenfelt's cookie(s). After that it had forgotten my preferred card display size, but that was easily remedied.
Mine is still not working while playing Klondike.

Is there more than one way to delete cookies?
I tried clearing cookies and that didn't work. Then I tried opening and using a Private Tab, and now more score will calculate and get recorded.
If you cleared cookies while a greenfelt window was open the site might have saved the problematic data back into the cookies. To really clear them it's best to close any greenfelt windows and then clear the cookies.
That said, we've made a couple changes to fix this issue and I think we should be good now. Keep letting us know if it isn't working for you.

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I'm still unable to get a score to load or post if I'm logged in. I can only get a score if I'm logged out. Could it be due to the device I'm playing on, or my location? Thanks for your hard work!
