How can I go from a score of 20 out of 400+ immediately into the next game and have a score of 2 out of 6?

    Because we're only volunteers, here. There are a billion of each game to play and, this site has only been around for about fifteen years, therefore, most have not been played, yet. The 20 out of 400+ game was probably a game of the day. The second game would be one that's randomly given out to people who play other games of Pyramid besides the game of the day. You'll find this with every game. When you click on the New Game button of every game and check the scores, eventually (and it won't take too long) you'll get games that have no scores at all.
