Or so it seems. When I would clear cookies (for reasons other than Greenfelt), if I had been logged in, the site would get in an inconsistent state: the upper right of the screen would show me logged in, but when I won a game, the popup leader-board dialog would not know I was logged in. I would have to click my (upper right) name & logout, then log in, and all was in sync again.

Now I see a notation please log in again in upper right in this situation.
