In any game that reports and ranks by number of moves, put a little window on the screen showing moves taken so far in the game. The same for elapsed time.

I suggested this a while back and Jim responded that they don't want to have anything running on the side that could distract from play. Have to say I agree with that. Others suggested you could use your cell phone's stopwatch function for a sense of the running time; no help for the number of moves though.

That makes sense -- I think a timer would be distracting! I do sometimes wish for scorpion that I could check my score before I submit. Sometimes if I am trying to figure how on Earth to get the high score that day, it's hard to be sure I counted runs correctly. :-)
