faster Klondike 3 play

I can win regularly when the games are set to make it "more plausible". What I usually see is I'm around the top 5-15, But the very top are accomplishing the same number of moves in a minute or more faster time if my time is say 2:30. My fastest times have been around 1:40-50.This tells me I am missing techniques that speed up play. I read the "super moves" section, but apparently didn't get it. Suggestions?

I'm NOT talking about the people who do 100+ moves in 30 seconds or less. That's a different ball game.
