  • JUST A REMINDER!!

Yeah, I love the game and it is frustrating to not get our scores.

But, you have probably noticed that the game is free to us and is not
    supported by intrusive advertising.

It was created and is maintained by a few really good computer geeks as
    a really serious hobby.

We play a few games and go to bed. They come home from work and spend
all night trying to get their system back at 100%

Let's thank them and wish them "Good Luck," instead of complaining that we
can't polish our reputations by posting brags about our scores.

I just had a thought. A couple days ago I removed the "If you find a bug, please report it" text from the top of the games and replaced it with a link to the forum post explaining the current situation. Which means that people that post bugs for some reason are looking at old versions of the page. Several days old, in fact.

That could explain the reports of duplicate games (that we've never been able to duplicate). The initial page load contains the game of the day game # and also the initial "seed chain" which determines which games are to be played.

That would also explain why people haven't seen anything posted about the database issue. The little box with the News and Forum post updates comes from the initial page load and so it might contain old data from who knows when. The people with old pages might not realize we have an active forum (not that everyone who sees the forum wants to participate).

@Sandra217, if you ever see this—how do you get to greenfelt? Do you just leave it open in a tab in your browser and go back to that tab when you want to play?
