Please describe the problem in detail:
I can login under my user name and password using Firefox as my browser, but I can no longer log in using Safari as my browser. I am using a Mac Mini, running 10.11.6. Safari version is 11.0
Safari is my default browser and I prefer to use it to login to Greenfelt.
I tried creating a new name and password, but again Greenfelt wouldn't accept it. I have played the games on Greenfelt for years and really wish I could resolve this glitch on my end, but I have run out of things to try.
Please help. I am a devoted user.

I see it too with Safari 11:
Error: "unknown status text [0]". It seems to be some weird protocol issue. I tried upgrading our web server but that didn't help. I'm about to fall asleep so I'll have to keep digging at it tomorrow.Interestingly it works on mobile safari.
I tried it and no go for me on my MacBook Pro. Could play the game just no sign-in. I never use Safari it's too slow. I also have a 13in alum macbook that runs snow.. the kids use it. I tried to log in using Safari and I got a message saying it could not load because Safari could not establish a secure connection. So could not even play any games
But Crome and Firefox worked fine.. could log in and play.
