Please describe the problem in detail:
For the last few weeks, I am unable to find out the high scores for my played games because the "backend server" isn't available. What is the problem?

nana4, you need to read some of the posts on the Forum (click on 'Forum' in the top right of the screen. This topic has been covered exhaustively.
The back end server, that runs this website, needs to be repaired or replaced. It's not big enough to handle all the activity, all the people, and all the games being played, on this site, day after day. David and Jim, the owners of this site, are working on this, but it's taking time, effort, and expense, to either repair or replace it. https://www.reference.com/technology/back-end-server-d4d0f1b851cd7424
"Yes. We are working on it. The current status is we're waiting on a disk to arrive so that we can move the database to a faster machine. Our database is so big that it takes almost a day to replicate the data. It's also so big that pricing for having someone else host it for us is unacceptably high. Thanks for the clarification. For a change it is relaxing to play a game for the sake of the game and not to try to win - which I never to anyway. Top 5% is about what I can manage.

Today I came in 2nd on a game of the day and I was shocked. I am sure that only lasted a few minutes but hey...at least I was 2nd for a moment.
