My score is always on the top 20 percent, so I tanked a few games, and then let the clock run for a few hours before giving up, and the scores remained the same. On the rare occasions when I'm doing really well the scores seem accurate. What gives.
Thank you, bassguy
Scores are based on the number of cards you get into the foundations (they are not affected by time). When you click "New Game" you tend to get games with fewer and fewer overall players, making it easier to get into the top spots (this refreshes on the hour, and of course the game of the day is always the first one to come up if you haven't played it yet). When you pause the game the timer stops, so if you switched away from that browser tab the game automatically paused itself and the time stopped counting. If you leave the game in the front overnight you should see your time be really high (though again, score and time are independent).
