Game was called 4 up 3 down

The game was dealt out 4 up 3 down for 3 rows. The rest were dealt face up. The 3 remaining cards were on the side to use when you could. Object was to run the suits from King to Ace until all 4 suits were done. Game over when you could not progress. Don't know games real name or if it is on any solitare site. Any help appreciated.

This sounds a lot like Scorpion. Though it's 4 down, 3 up for 3 rows. The 3 remaining are face down until you use them and then they all come down at once. Is that how it worked? Maybe your game was a variation on Scorpion...
