Right clicking anywhere is the same as pressing "undo". We also let you undo past the beginning of your game to where you were in the previous game. So, if you finish a game and then click "New Game" and then right click anywhere, it will go back to where you were previously, which is the old game in its finished state. So it looks like it's finishing the game you were on, but it actually isn't. You should be able to verify this by watching the "Game #" in the toolbar—it should change to the old game when you right click.
