Can't log in with new password

I'm wondering if it is a bug that is preventing me from using my password? I registered again because I kept getting a Password invalid" notification. I received my authentication link, and then authenticated it. While trying to sign in, I continued to receive the same info about password. I restarted my computer after authenticating and that didn't work. I don't want to remove all cookies from my computer, so I hope that isn't the solution. Thanks so much!
