can't play spider solitare

I have been playing spider solitare under cokealamode for months..then couldn't play...reset computer...started new account under P Wilson and still can't play. the game pulls up..I can add new cards etc....but I can't play pile to pile... why? thank you for helping me...senior citizen and have enjoyed your game a great deal.
