It would be nice to know how many have played each game to better see where I place.

    Agreed. I actually wrote some code to do that a couple months ago, but hadn't pushed it to the site. Your comment spurred me into finishing it up.

    You should now see your place and the total games in the high score box after you give win or give up a game.
