Astertoids score not showing up on board

A lot of times I get a score on Asteroids that should have shown up on the board but it doesn't show up. Today I got 13975 and it wasn't on any of the boards (should have shown up on "Today" and "This Week").

    I think I figured it out. After the game is over, a few more asteroids will pop because of stray bullets, so the score that makes it onto the leader board is not the real final score.

    I played a bunch of times and saw a score of 13625 on the board, but didn't see my score of 13975 up there.
