CARD randomly won't move to new place

Please describe the problem in detail:
Have been playing this now for a week or so, and just since yesterday, have had problems in the middle of some games where I can't get rid of a card. ie a 6 needing to move on to a 7, and it just sort of stays attached to the curser, and I have to close the game.
I have recently changed to a new laptop with Windows 8 and wondering if this could be part of the problem,?
