New update doesn't seem to allow just leaving a game without the failed game being registered

With your new update which involves restoring of games one is playing, you have said:
"If you don’t wish to continue the game, just press “New Game” to start a fresh one."

The problem with this is that the game one doesn't want to continue will register on the list which I don't want. You used to be able to get out and start a new game without the failed one being registered but it doesn't look like you can do that now.
