Did you guys really loose all the scores that everyone had on this game ? Everything is gone except for anonymous players.
@ericfish No scores were lost. You and Anonymous are the only two people who have played this game, so far. There are billions of Freecell games on this site and most still haven't been played by anyone, yet.
I just joined you in the game, so you have some company.
didn't know all the scores were loose...mine seems to still be pretty tight. Oh no!!! those darn anonymous people are back...always causing problems.

Hi @jezzbelle, question...did you ever write something, and later when it's too late to change it, have regrets about writing it ? My apologies to @ericfish.
@ericfish, we had some major corruption of our score database. We’ve started fresh, but we still plan to recover most of the old scores at some point.
@ericfish, it depends on how you define "lose" (I assume from context you meant that 😉). Our very large database of scores got corrupted. Many things were still working but some chunks of the db were constantly erring and many people were unable to save new games. We decided to start a new db to put out the immediate fire and give us some breathing room to figure out how to recover as much of the data from the old db as possible. So, yes, at the moment lots of the scores (especially from anything older than a couple months) are not in the new db. But the old db still exists and we intend to recover the data.
@kira and @david thanks for the info...and for the attempt at repairing a fence I may have damaged. Won't happen again.
