Scoring
I just don't understand it. It says I was number 1 out of 9, yet I had more moves, more time? see

Usually I just look and see who made the least moves and consider them the winner. And if I made the same, then good for me. I know at 84 I'm old but this is crazy.

Hi northwestkathleen. As I understand it... and simply put as I am also old, LOL...The 52 in your score indicates that you finished the game. If you'll notice, no one else has 52 in their score as they apparently did not finish the game. Therefore, you won. If I'm wrong, I'm sure other greenfelters will be happy to step in and correct me.
P.S. I assume that 52 means one has played all 52 cards in the deck.
Yep, for most games, we give you one point for each card moved to the foundations. Some games like Golf, Pyramid, Scorpion, etc. don't have foundations and are scored differently. 2 deck games like Spider and Forty Thieves have a top score of 104.
So @northwestkathleen, though you don't mention what game it is, it appears you were the only who actually beat it, giving you the high score.
I think scoring is also within a 24 hour period. I live in California and when I play at night I often am in first place. Sometimes there are only a few players listed. When I play during the day there are many players listed. In my opinion it should be about having fun playing and not who wins. When we played with card decks who cared who won? It was a one on one game then.
Thank you, David.
I really enjoy seeing who else is playing and what they're scoring. I do wonder where all the other players live. I'm in California and often see the same names week after week at certain times of the day. Too bad there's not more info, but at least we're all having fun!
