Thanks. I probably had a break in those 22 minutes. I think that contrary to what the "High Scores" tables might look like, a vast majority of Forty Thieves games are solvable. So I'm not quick to give up or race through a game just to be the quickest failure. Some times if I get stumped, I go make a cuppa or do something else for a bit, then look at it again with fresh eyes.

I don't think more games are unsolvable than not. Morehead & Mott-Smitt apparently estimated that only 1 in 10 games were solvable, but that was long before computers made it easy to undo moves.
