Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible:
When I hit “New Games”, I keep getting games I recently played,
such as earlier that day. This happens again and again, with no
new games offered.

When this happens to me I click in the "game number" and change one of the digits. It almost always gets me to new games
@Moondancer, the problem with that strategy is you will almost certainly hit on a game that no one else is playing now, or will for a long time to come. It will be lonely. A better option would be to keep hitting New Game and checking high scores until you get to a game that you haven't played yet. That way you keep on the (common, shared) random thread of games that everyone else is playing now and you're in good company.
