Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible:

On Saturday after 2-hour update, things went haywire. E.G. right NOW the response is SLOW. It takes several seconds
just to print these words!!!

    That sounds like a problem only your computer is having, which could have been caused by the update. You might want to check the update. A lot of times updates cause problems that can be corrected only by uninstalling and then reinstalling the update. Just a thought. Good luck in fixing it.
