Sudoku - Cannot use numeric keypad

I'm playing sudoku and am unable to use the numeric keypad to make entries (I did verify the Num Lock key was pressed). Using my HP notebook 17-by1053dx running Windows 21H1 (build 19043.1415). I'd be glad to provide additional info if needed - josephwaynefoster@gmail.com
