Is there a way to save the last game played when the game sight is closed accidentally.

This may not be the answer you want, but each game has a link to that exact game. It appears to the right of the Game of the Day button. You can save that link (in a text editor, or by dragging to the desktop) to get back to the same game at a later time. I suppose the above doesn't do you much good for a game that was accidentally closed.
